How Search Engine Optimization Works in 2014


Mostly business owners hate SEO (search engine optimization) when its come to rank in SERP. People simply reply with answer that SEO is the time fetching process and revert unpredicted result sometime bad result, if we ask the question what is SEO? You want it or not but

it obvious for your business and blog if you are online. You can't be away from it. There are commonly two type of SEO, one is Off-Page and another is On-Page. Lets see something about On-Page first.

Now comes to Off-Page SEO. It is slightly complicated. Internet is like a spider web which is built with links, and website links by using again links. Search engine spiders which is also known as robots crawl the World Wide Web and it jump to link from a link and indexed the website when its found. There are so many tactics to do Off-Page SEO. We will talk about it in another post. The search engine giant Google has its own googlebot which crawls the links to link indexing sites which it founds. When it comes to Google search you can simply control what googlebot can crawl on the search result by changing your robot.txt file.

This does not means that you can't go on vacation but nor leave your website for a month long without any fresh content. Maintain your post frequency that is the best way to get good result. BE ACTIVE ON SOCIAL MEDIA


You must use social media platform if you have online presence of your business or site. There are so many great social media such link Facebook, Google+, Twitter which can provide you maximum result. As per the recent Hummingbird algorithm update from the Google also suggest to use social media. If you ignore it your site surely will be de-rank in search result. It suggest that if nobody is sharing your content then why should Google also to be interested in it? And I think it is fair enough.

MOBILE OPTIMIZED



Today people use smartphones and tablet more than laptops and desktops, so your site should be mobile friendly. The more number of search coming from the mobile and tablets now days and we can't stop it to grow in coming days.
